Night of the living dead

Night of the living dead is one of those classic zombie movies that is just great to watch each time. Night of the living dead is basically the film that made zombies popular. This movie starts off with a woman, and her brother visiting their mothers grave, but while visiting the grave they are attacked by a zombie, to which her brother tells her to run off and dies trying to fight the zombie. While running she finds a farmhouse only to discover the owner is dead, a man named ben who arrives in a pick up trucks, drags her into the house and barricades the windows. Inside the house they meet a family who's daughter is ill, and a teenage couple. the rest of the movie is about them defending themselves and trying to stay sane...This movie while black and white features a great plot featuring zombies as well as a psychological battle going on in their heads to stay sane and try to work together. This movie can represent reality because during events where there is a crisis going on some people lose their mind in the process and start going insane killing people at times.  this is my example of key concept 1

Bleach

Bleach is a fantasy anime about a teenager named ichigo kurosaki(voiced by johnny yong bosch...ONE OF THE POWER RANGERS FROM THE FIRST POWER RANGERS SERIES) and his power to see ghosts. one day she see's a girl in a black hakama who is suprised as no human should see her. after getting attacked by a creature called a hollow, the girl while injured tries to give a bit of her power to ichigo, but suddenly is shocked that all her power is taken and ichigo uses said power to fight the hollow. During the course of the series ichigo loses his powers and has to find a way to get his powers back, and some ex soul reaper told him of a way that involved him being in his normal spirit form but trying to search for his powers deep inside him. Because of this method ichigo becomes part hollow and has to fight to maintain his good side or give in and let the hollow side slaughter everything around him even his loved one's. Bleach while a fantasy anime shows situations in life where you may have to do something similar, basically telling us while the answer may not be the best, they don't care and will push forward. this is my example of key concept 2

Love Hina

Love hina is an anime about a guy named keitaro urashima who made a promise to a girl to marry when they enter this university during their childhood. Sadly the girl moved, and keitaro never saw her again, now he keeps trying to get into the university even though he keeps failing. The series starts off with keitaro getting a call from his grandma who tells him that he must be the manager of this inn...only to find out there are only girls. This anime portrays girls as being able to easily fall inlove with someone but not knowing their own feelings, and while they may show lots of pervertedness...the plot is actually cute as the main character hasn't forgotten a promise to his childhood friend. it features many plot cliche's such as the guy must do all the work. Overall while it may be cliche'd and perverted, the plot is great. this is my example of key concept 2

Anime

Anime in general is something looked down upon because its from another country and people don't appreciate it. Anime is the japanese equivalent of cartoon's here but in a style called "anime" which is divived into many sub style's to fit the audience the anime is aiming for. Anime is basically 50% of japanese eterntainment, with the rest being video games and normal t.v. Anime doesn't have as many fans as it does in japan compared to america and whatnot for one reason. Japanese culture and american culture are different yet very similar. while they may be completely different stuff from the outside you will find that its very similar, they both feature hero's which kid want to be, an adventure people wish happen to them, and comedic moments. Anime overall is something great, but because it came from a place that not much people understand, no one will give it a shot. this is my example of key concept 3

Naruto

Naruto...well actually every mainstream graphic novel but mostly naruto. Naruto is a series based on ninja's....infact no one actually knows when this series would take place. Anyways Naruto is about a character named, naruto uzumaki and his friends/team mates...This is one of those series which started off really well but as time passed, the author was doing whatever he can to please his friends...but infact it does the exact opposite, Naruto has become so dumb plot wise right now because it really never focus's on the main character...Naruto while a mainstream graphic novel, doesn't show interest in a lot of people and only kids. Naruto is now just made for profit instead of actual appeal to any fans. Naruto simply is one of those things that stop being good...or never was good with a lot of people...cough twilight cough. This is my example of key concept 4

Reborn!

Ah reborn...this is a graphic novel about a weak teenager named tsunayoshi, or tsuna for short. Tsuna isn't the greatest at grades to the point of failing. He's also very weak and usually bullied. When his mom hires a tutor for tsuna...he didn't expect a baby...and definately didn't expect the baby is telling him that tsuna is the tenth generation boss for a mafia!? Anyways this starts off as a gag, but later it starts growing in plot showing that even the weakest can be strong as he has to start fighting people to protect his friends. Tsuna a person with no friends would never expect this, but when he starts making friends and when they are in danger...the gloves are on(fighting style) and he'll do his best to protect. This is my example of key concept 5

Super mario brothers!

oh boy, nothing as good as a classic, this is like one of the most, if not THE most popular gaming franchise ever...of all time. Super mario brothers follows the plot of going through multiple stages to save your beloved princess peach. The main character is a plumber...but in some spin offs he is a doctor. This game follows the stereotype of the damsel in distress and that its up to the guy to save them basically...And in recent games the villain has a heart of gold but won't show it because it doesn't match his appearance. While many people usually ignore this, it puts many people into the belief that the guy should solve all the problems for the girl and that it will always be the girl who needs saving...oh boy how wrong that one is...This game is full of cliche's like this and whatnot...but i guess we're so use to it we don't mind it anymore...This is my example of key concept 2
